Irish New Year 2019

As I write this email or message to all of you that are club members and friends, it gives me great joy to know that we have been blessed this year with a great deal of giving!  We have 1,434 active elves as of this writing.  All of you have been on Santa's nice list!

rodger and sue 2018 300I must acknowledge the two elves that just happen to be our 2018 Irish Man and Woman of the Year.  Rodger and Sue Christiansen, or as we say at the North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus!  Rodger being our volunteer Treasurer for a number of years and securing our new mortgage, and Sue who volunteers as our Membership Secretary.  We all thank you!(Insert photo of Rodger and Sue)

What was nice this year?

How about a much needed fundraiser for the club, so many donations and volunteers.  Our new kitchen and bar floor are great, our new water heater is flowing.  Mrs. Claus is so very happy!

We had a heartwarming benefit for our dear friend Deb!  So much love was given that day to a club member and beautiful lady, who we all know is deserving.  I still tear up thinking of the joy you all brought to Debbie! We were fortunate to cook the Thanksgiving Day turkeys for the Salvation Army in Hyannis.

The friendships that have been forged and and the friendships that are lasting! We had some fun! Debbie Bearse won the ugliest sweater ribbon last Friday night.  John Flaherty won the ugliest sweater ribbon on Saturday night.
